CounterTrade Products Wins IT Services in New Mexico

CounterTrade Products, LLC. of New Mexico has been awarded a contract with the State of New Mexico to provide IT support and services for State of New Mexico departments and agencies. CounterTrade won awards in Computer Programming – Web Applications, Database Management Services – SQL, Desktop Support Services, Help Desk Services, Network Services, Project Management Services and Integration and Implementation Services.

The services will be managed out of CounterTrade’s Albuquerque, NM office. CounterTrade’s New Mexico services staff that will implement these services were each evaluated by State of New Mexico evaluation personnel. Each individual passed this evaluation and is deemed to have the expertise, qualifications and certifications necessary to perform against the requirements they will encounter within the State of New Mexico IT architecture.

“The award demonstrates a couple of things for our organization. First, it is the third of three major IT service contracts the organization has won within the last two months (Navy SeaPort Enhanced and Denver Regional Transportation District). Secondly, it shows that our organization employs the people and the processes necessary to be trusted to perform critical work at high profile organizations,” said Joe Calabria, President. “We look forward to continuing to add to our breadth of service offerings to government entities and expand our ability to provide quality on time services to all of our customers.”

The State of New Mexico award is a one-year agreement with three option years. The contract is based on hourly rates and will require IT work to be performed by junior, mid and senior level personnel. The proposed prices for services must remain fixed for two years and will only be adjusted by mutual agreement thereafter. Procuring agencies will have the ability to contract for such services, as needed, on a fixed hourly rate, fixed fee or other approved basis. The resultant price agreements may be used by the executive, judicial and legislative branches of government as well as local governments and public educational entities.
